Dennis’s specialty is plain language and he writes, edits, teaches and consults to make communication more effective. Dennis has an Honours BA in English and has worked as a writer and research coordinator for Mantle & Overall Communications and as a freelance reporter for CBC Radio. Dennis writes text of all types for both private- and public-sector clients. He has edited or rewritten everything from academic articles and website copy to proposals, business documents and training manuals. Dennis has written everything from fiction to textbook essays, corporate brochures, website content and multimedia CD scripts. Dennis has taught communications skills for Algonquin College, the Ottawa Board of Education and Editors’ Association of Canada. He has also published a book of poetry, an experimental novel and essays and articles in magazines, newspapers and textbooks.
