Dennis specializes in plain language and writes, edits, teaches and consults to make communication more effective. He has an Honours BA in English and worked as a writer and researcher for Mantle & Overall Communications and as a freelance reporter for CBC Radio. Dennis writes and edits text of all types for private, non-profit, business and government clients. He has edited or rewritten everything from academic articles and website copy to annual reports, business documents and training manuals. He has written everything from fiction to textbook essays, corporate brochures, website copy and multimedia CD scripts. He has taught communications skills for clients such as Algonquin College and Editors’ Association of Canada. Dennis has published a book of poetry, an experimental novel and essays and articles in magazines, newspapers and textbooks.
